Is there anything better than a cobbler or crumble? It’s one of my favorite desserts. This Gluten-Free Cherry Cobbler is one of my go-to desserts when I’m serving a crowd. It’s easy, uses minimal ingredients, and is completely gluten-free and plant-based. Your guests will never know this fancy dessert is actually low-sugar and healthy. I love to serve it with a scoop of fresh coconut whipped cream or dairy-free vanilla bean ice cream. Notes on Ingredients
- Cherries: You can use fresh or frozen cherries. This recipe calls for dark, sweet frozen cherries which are more affordable and available year round.
- Oats: Use rolled oats for the crumble topping to achieve the best texture.
- Oil: Any neutral oil is fine. I usually use avocado, macadamia, or coconut. You can also use vegan butter for a richer flavor.
- Walnuts: Add an amazing crunch to the crumble topping. You can substitute for another nut you prefer like pecans or almonds or omit entirely and replace with more oats for nut-free.

I like to make my own! You can literally just use a can of full fat coconut cream and a hand mixer and blend until a whipped cream texture forms. Mix in vanilla extract and sweetener of choice. If I’m in a pinch and buying store-bought, I usually get the So Delicious Cocowhip.
Sure! Use any fruit. Blackberries or blueberries would be really yummy. You could also use a stone-type fruit like peaches, nectarines, or even apples.
I like to serve a cozy and comforting dinner with cobbler like One Pan Gnocchi or Hormone Support Pasta Bowls.
