I don’t drink alcohol, but I still love to enjoy a fun and fruity drink, especially if it comes with functional benefits for my health! I make my Kiwi Lime Stress Relief Mocktail all the time–for parties, date nights in, summer evenings, and to sip on before bed for better sleep. This mocktail pairs perfectly with: One Pan Dumplings, Bean & Sweet Potato Tacos, Green Girl Crunch Salad, or One Pan Thai Curry Chickpeas.
Why I Love This Recipe
- Alcohol Free: No alcohol is needed to enjoy a delicious, fruity beverage! That’s why I love a mocktail. I don’t drink but I still make drinks I enjoy all the time (like my Nature’s Gatorade). And I feel better for it!
- Stress Relief Benefits: I love to make my mocktails functional, meaning they serve a purpose. I call this one my ‘stress relief’ mocktail because it contains lemon balm and ashwagandha, both of which help you de-stress and sleep better.
- Low Sugar: Most mocktails (and cocktails too) are loaded with added sugar. If you’re skipping the alcohol, chances are you don’t want a sugar-crash either! My Kiwi Lime Stress Relief Mocktail has just a touch of agave for natural sweetness without the spike.

Notes on Ingredients
- Kiwi: If you want to add more fiber to this drink, feel free to leave the kiwi unpeeled. Since you’re adding it to the blender, you won’t be able to tell!
- Cucumber: You’ll need about ⅓ of a medium sized cucumber to add to the drink, plus more for a cucumber ribbon garnish. Use leftover cucumber to make Cucumber Feta Chickpea Salad!
- Ashwagandha: The first functional ingredient I use is Vimergy’s Liquid Ashwagandha for stress relief.
- Lemon Balm: The second functional supplement I add to this mocktail for all of the relaxation benefits. I use Vimergy’s Liquid Lemon Balm drops.
- Agave: You can adjust the sweetness to your taste preferences. I find that 1 teaspoon of agave is the perfect level of sweetness.
- Sparkling Water: You’ll need either your favorite sparkling water or club soda to top the drink off.

Yes–I make this hydrating DIY Nature’s Gatorade and it’s the perfect refreshing beverage all summer long. I also love doing smoothies–specifically Berries & Cream Collagen Booster and Gut Healing Green Smoothie.
You can omit the Liquid Ashwagandha and Liquid Lemon Balm if you don’t have them or want to purchase them. You can also swap in any other liquid relaxing supplements you like. I get all of mine from Vimergy.
Yes! Make the drink ahead of time and then assemble the individual drinks just before serving (like coating the rim and making the cucumber ribbons, if doing so). This recipe makes just one serving so you may need to double, triple, quadruple, etc. the recipe depending on how many people you are serving to.

Extra Helpful Tips
- Don’t skip the coconut rim and cucumber ribbon garnish… especially if you’re serving this drink to a crowd. It takes the whole drink to the next level!
- This recipe makes enough for 1 serving/1 drink. Feel free to adjust the number of servings in the recipe card to make more.
