1
blender
1 fine mesh strainer
or nut milk bag or cheese cloth
Ingredients
1
cup
rolled oats
organic
4
cups
water
filtered
2
medjool dates
pitted & optional for sweetness
½
teaspoon
vanilla extract
Instructions
Add all ingredients to blender.
Blend until everything is combined. Do not overblend - it can get slimy!
Strain using a nut milk bag and add into a pitcher of your choice.
Store in the refrigerator for one week. Enjoy!
Notes
Be careful not to overblend the oat milk otherwise it can get thick and slimy.
Use a nut milk bag or fine mesh strainer to strain the milk after blending. This will make it extra creamy and smooth!
Add cinnamon, a splash of maple syrup, a dash of nutmeg, or anything else to add flavor.
Medjool dates add natural sweetness to the milk but feel free to omit them if you prefer an unsweetened milk.
