Why I Love This Recipe
- No Refined Sugar: This DIY Nature’s Gatorade requires no refined, added sugar like cane sugar or worse, high fructose corn syrup. Fruit is a natural sweetener and tastes just as delicious.
- Perfect for Kids: Stop giving your kids Gatorade after sporting events and swap it with this healthy alternative instead. They don’t need loads of refined sugar or toxic artificial food dyes to be replenished after activities.
- Cheap & Easy: Store-bought hydration drinks are often overpriced and can rack up in cost quickly. Make your own at home, make a double or triple batch, and have hydrating drinks all week long.

Notes on Ingredients
- Coconut Water: Be sure to use 100% organic, no sugar added coconut water.
- Tangerine Juice: You can use any type of orange juice or juice your own. I like to use pulp-free.
- Watermelon Juice: Store-bought watermelon juice or blend watermelon cubes in a blender and strain to make your own.
- Beet Powder: You can’t taste the beet powder, but it adds a gorgeous color to the drink and beets are amazing to consume post-workout for recovery.
