gluten-free flour blend
or oat flour

tablespoon
coconut sugar
or cane sugar

tablespoon
cocoa powder
or cacao

teaspoon
baking powder

macadamia nut milk
I use Milkadamia, any nut milk is fine

tablespoon
applesauce
or melted coconut oil

teaspoon
vanilla extract
dark chocolate chips
for topping
Instructions
In a small bowl or mug, add all of the dry ingredients. Mix.
Add the wet ingredients. Mix. Top with chocolate chips.
Microwave for 60 seconds.
Serve immediately and warm! It's best this way.
Notes
If you want a gooier consistency, cook for 45 seconds instead of 1 minute. Careful not to over microwave–the cake will get spongey.
You can use cocoa or cacao powder–either works.
Mix in your favorite add-ins like chocolate chips, walnuts, coconut flakes, chopped dates, or anything else.
