½cupfull fat canned coconut milkor sub reduced fat coconut milk
1teaspoonsalt
1teaspoonblack pepper
1teaspoongarlic powder
Instructions
Bring water to boil in a pot.
Once boiling, add the rice and other ingredients to the pot. Cover with a lid and turn stove down to a simmer. Let cook for 15 minutes or until all water is absorbed.
Fluff with a fork and serve!
Notes
Rinse your rice in a fine mesh strainer before using!You can use white or brown basmati rice, or another kind of rice or grain.This dish yields approximately 4 cups of cooked rice, which is approximately 4 servings.
