2cupsbasmati riceI used white basmati rice but you can use brown!
4cups water
2tsp turmeric
½cupfull fat canned coconut milkor sub reduced fat coconut milk
1tsp salt
1teaspoonblack pepper
1teaspoongarlic powder
Instructions
Bring water to boil in a pot that has a tight fitting lid
Once boiling, add the rice and other ingredients to the pot. Cover and turn stove down to a simmer. Let cook for 15 minutes or until all water is absorbed.
