I love a green smoothie.
As a health coach, I highly recommend this green smoothie for breakfast or for whenever you need a boost. This is a nutrient dense, refreshing, and light meal. I particularly love this to start my day because it is very light on the stomach. When I wake up, I am not in the mood for a heavy, unbutton-your-pants style meal. Your breakfast should give you energy and satisfy you without weighing you down. Make sure that you use a ripe banana when you make this, unripe bananas are not good for digestion and ripe bananas are actually high in cancer-fighting antioxidants.
What makes this smoothie a detox smoothie?
This smoothie contains spirulina. Spirulina naturally detoxes the system by purifying your blood and your liver. It aids in digestion, increases metabolism, and removes toxins from the body like heavy metals and pollutants. Make sure to get pure Hawaiian spirulina, it is the highest quality.
Ingredients:
1 ripe banana
3/4 cup frozen pineapple
3/4 cup frozen mango
1 tsp spirulina
1 cup spinach
2 tbsp hemp seeds
1.5 cups almond milk

Blend all ingredients in blender and enjoy!

I looooove having smoothies in the morning but i work so early and live in an apartment so you can hear everything and I hate running the blender in the morning and wake everyone up. Is there a way to make them overnight? Ive tried freezing them its too frozen and the fridge just seperates it and it isnt the same.
overnight oats may be a better option if you don;t want to run your blender, or yogurt bowls with fruit.
