Easy and convenient meals that only require one pan have been on repeat for me lately. This One Pan Broccoli Cheddar Orzo is creamy and delicious, and no one would have any clue it is dairy free and vegan. Notes on Ingredients
- unsweetened full fat coconut milk: helps give the dish a creamy flavor
- seasoning: turmeric, nutritional yeast, garlic powder, dried basil, dried oregano, dried thyme, pepper
- orzo: if strictly gluten free you could use a gluten free version

How do you make One Pan Broccoli Cheddar Orzo?
- Add all of the ingredients to the pan except the broccoli and orzo.
- Mix together and add the broccoli and orzo
- Mix again until well combined making sure the orzo is fully covered by the liquid.
- Bake in the oven at 400F for 30-40 minutes until orzo is cooked.
- Give it a good mix, and top with vegan parmesan.
- Serve and enjoy!
- Step 1: First, add the olive oil, coconut milk, and turmeric.
- Step 2: Then, add the rest of the ingredients except the orzo and broccoli.
- Step 3: Mix it all together.
- Step 4: Next, add the broccoli and orzo.
- Step 5: Make sure all of the ingredients are well coated and submerged in liquid.
- Step 6: Lastly, bake in the oven at 400F for 30-40 minutes until orzo is cooked. Stir and add parmesan.
Commonly Asked Questions
The orzo should be tender and soft. Try some at the 30 minute mark to see if it needs to cook longer.
Nutritional yeast gives this one pan dish a cheesy flavor along with the parmesan on top and the coconut milk mixed in to make it creamy.
You can, but be mindful that you need to increase the amount of liquid, as well, to make sure it is fully covered before baking.

Store in an airtight container for up to 4 days, or put a lid on your casserole dish. To reheat, simply microwave or put back in the oven.
