This 15-minute, plant-based One Pot Creamy Pesto Hummus Pasta is probably going to be your new all-time favorite pasta dish. I know that’s a lofty claim, but I’ve made a lot of pasta dishes over the years, and this one is up there with my all-time favorites. It’s so creamy, flavorful, easy, and I love that it’s an easy way to sneak in broccoli. Get 20+ Healthy Pasta Recipes here!

Why I Love This Recipe
- Creamy Pasta: I’ve always loved hummus pasta and pesto pasta separately but combining the two creates the most insane, creamy, flavorful pasta dish you’re going to love. This dish is completely plant-based.
- Super Easy: There’s nothing easier than boiling pasta (and cooking the broccoli right in with it), straining and then mixing in some sauce. This is like a 3 step recipe, max!
- One Pot: This entire dish is made in one pot because I cook the broccoli in the same pot while the pasta cooks towards the end. Minimal mess!
- 15 Minute Dinner: Dinner will be ready in just 15 minutes when you make this dish. All you need to do is boil the noodles, along with the broccoli, then strain and add in your sauce!

Notes on Ingredients

- Pasta: You can use any shape and variety of noodle for this dish. I used organic wheat radiatori. To make this dish gluten-free, use your favorite gluten-free noodles. Get more pasta recipes here!
- Broccoli: You’ll need to microchop very finely 1 head of broccoli. You can use frozen broccoli florets, just keep in mind they’ll be bigger in the pasta dish.
- Hummus: For hummus, I prefer using homemade hummus but store-bought is fine too and will save time. Look for one made with extra virgin olive oil if possible. Try my OG Hummus Pasta next!
- Pesto: Once again, I love to use my homemade vegan pesto in this, but if you want to use store-bought, my favorite brand is Gotham Greens.
- Almond Milk: Be sure to use 100% plain, unsweetened almond milk.
- Nutritional Yeast: Adds a rich, cheesiness to the dish without needing any dairy.
- Garnishes: Some optional garnish additions I love adding are fresh basil, cracked black pepper, grated vegan parmesan, or fresh lemon.
